Josh Weinberg

Josh Weinberg is a nationally recognized speaker, author, consultant, and leader in the mortgage industry. He is the President of Firstline Compliance, a consulting company specializing in mortgage compliance and technology (www.firstlinecompliance.com) and a Co-Founder of Talk’uments (www.talkuments.com), the industry’s solution for providing language access and increasing market share. He is the Vice Chair of the Mortgage Bankers Association’s State Legislative and Regulatory Committee, past Chair of MBA’s Regulatory Compliance Committee, Past Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors for MISMO, as well as a member of ABA’s Residential Markets Committee. Previously he was the Executive Vice President of Compliance for Guaranteed Rate, Inc., and before that the EVP of Compliance for First Choice Loan Services Inc. He has also worked for a major LOS vendor, and in retail banking and non-depository environments, as well as independently, as the owner of a mortgage broker company.

Melissa Kozicki, CMCP

With a strong background in mortgage operations and compliance, plus over a decade in mortgage related software development, Melissa Kozicki is an expert at implementing compliance solutions through technology. She is currently Director of Compliance at Mortgage Cadence, an Accenture Company who has been partnering with lenders since 1999, offering the industry’s only true one-stop shop mortgage technology solutions designed for point-of-sale through post-closing.
Melissa is founder of the Vendor Regulatory Work Group, a forum for technologists to discuss regulatory implementation, meet with regulators and remain current on the ever evolving regulatory landscape. Melissa is a member of multiple mortgage associations and committees, and her contributions have been recognized as a past recipient of the MMBA Distinguished Faculty of the Year award and she has been honored as one of the 2015 Elite Women in Mortgage. Melissa is the author of numerous publications and training courses, including federal compliance content for NMLS-certified continuing education courses, a contributor to MBA education content, a frequent speaker at industry conferences and a Certified Mortgage Compliance Professional.

Registration and attendance at, or participation in, MMLA meetings and other activities constitutes an agreement by the registrant to the use and distribution of the registrant or attendees’ image or voice in photographs, videotapes, electronic reproductions and audiotapes of such events and activities by MMLA.
MMLA events are non-recruiting functions! Solicitation and/or distribution of employment opportunities, including net branch/net compensation plans, is prohibited. The penalty for non-compliance with this policy is immediate expulsion from the event without a refund of fees paid to MMLA related to the event.
