Speaker Bio:

Dr. Isely has taught over 100 classes to more than 4,000 students, covering topics like Environmental Economics, Business Cycles and Growth, and Economics Capstone. During the financial crisis, he played a key role in GVSU’s public response, providing daily media support and organizing business leader meetings.

He is a sought-after speaker on the West Michigan economy, averaging 15 public speaking events annually. Dr. Isely also leads the annual January economic forecast event with Colliers International.

Registrations made and not cancelled by January 16, 2026 must be paid in full and are not refundable. If registration is not paid by the day of the event, or will incur a $10 late fee.

MMLA events are non-recruiting functions! Solicitation and/or distribution of employment opportunities, including net branch/net compensation plans, is prohibited.
