This foundational session introduces mortgage professionals to the fundamentals of secondary marketing—the engine behind loan pricing, rate sheets, and revenue generation. This event breaks down complex concepts into practical, real-world insights that help you better understand how loans are priced, sold, and managed after origination.
Attendees will walk away with a clearer understanding of the financial mechanics that drive rates, margins, and lock strategies, enabling them to communicate more confidently with borrowers and referral partners.

Trisha Hamilton is the Director of Secondary Marketing at Lake Michigan Credit Union, where she has built her career over the past 14 years—12 of those dedicated to Secondary Marketing. She has collaborated on major initiatives including LOS transitions, hedging platform enhancements, and point‑of‑sale system implementations.
Trisha holds dual bachelor’s degrees in Supply Chain Management and Marketing from Grand Valley State University. As a Veteran of the Michigan Army National Guard, she brings discipline, commitment, and an analytical mindset to her work. She lives in Grand Rapids, Michigan with her husband and their two young children.

John Collins is a capital markets executive with more than 15 years of mortgage experience spanning credit unions, IMBs, and banks. He has built and led secondary marketing teams, overseen whole loan trades and agency execution, and driven pricing strategy to improve profitability and liquidity.
